My name is Moonmoon.

My art does not follow trends, nor does it seek validation. It flows—like a soft current beneath the surface of still water. My canvases are not merely painted; they are breathed into being. Layers of muted colors, unexpected textures, and hauntingly lyrical forms reveal a world that is both deeply internal and universally resonant. There is a quiet rebellion —an insistence on slowness, on vulnerability, on finding beauty in the my practice is meditative, often rooted in ritual—signs of love, hope, calmness, patience or the echo of a poem might find their way into my work. I paint when words fail , when days feel heavy, when moments beg to be remembered without explanation.

Each piece I creates is an invitation—to linger, to listen, to feel without needing to understand.

I am a self-taught artist born in 1984 in Jammu and now based in New Delhi, stumbled upon my artistic calling through a serendipitous online encounter with a captivating painting. Driven by an unyielding desire to possess the elusive artwork, I embarked on an odyssey of creation, unknowingly charting the course of her artistic destiny.

Encouraged by my husband's unwavering support, I delved headlong into the realm of painting, imbuing my canvases with a kaleidoscope of passion and creativity.

Having graduated with a degree in English Honours from Delhi University, my artistic journey was further enriched by a Diploma in Applied Arts (Fashion Designing) from JD Institute of Fashion technology.
